MODULAR PADEL COURTS
WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK

Professional certified courts on a floating steel “Floating Deck” platform – a construction system in which the role of the concrete foundation is taken over by a statically designed and certified steel structure. This is not a mobile or temporary solution, but a genuine building structure: the load-bearing part is steel verified in accordance with Eurocode EN 1993-1, the same type of structural analysis used for conventional buildings.

Instead of excavation and concreting, the structure stands on adjustable steel feet with load-spreading plates, sized according to the bearing capacity of the specific ground. As a result, the soil remains permeable and rainwater continues to soak naturally into the ground instead of running off a sealed concrete surface. We assemble the entire sports facility within 45 days on a wide range of surfaces, from grass to paved areas, and installation is also possible on gently sloping terrain (height difference of up to ±15 cm).

Under the Eurocode, the structure is formally classified as a demountable structure with a design working life of 10 years. This merely reflects the legal and construction status of the modular system, not its actual quality or stability. We provide a 10-year warranty on the load-bearing steel structure. With the prescribed regular maintenance, the galvanised steel is designed for a long, virtually unlimited lifespan.

If needed, we can completely dismantle and relocate the structure, giving you the flexibility to change how the land is used
without losing the value of your investment.

Floating Deck load-bearing steel grid

  • The main beams are UNP 200 profiles made of S275JR structural steel.

  • The structure is complemented by steel ties and reinforcing load-distribution plates.

  • All grid joints are secured with M12 grade 8.8 high-strength bolts in accordance with UNI 5588.

  • The secondary closed-section beams made of S235JR steel have a 100 × 60 × 3 mm profile and are installed at 500 mm centres.

  • The secondary beams are anchored into heavy-duty steel brackets.

  • Precise levelling and height adjustment of the structure on site are provided by Scaffolding Base Plates H330 adjustable steel feet.

  • The total certified load-bearing capacity of the platform corresponds to Eurocode load category C4 for sports areas and is rated at 500 kg/m².

Above-ground court structure

  • The structure is made of S235JR steel.

  • Complete corrosion protection of the steel components is provided by hot-dip galvanising in accordance with the European standard UNI EN ISO 1461:2009.

  • The final finish is an electrostatically applied, oven-cured polymer powder coating.

  • The RAL colour will be specified according to the project specification.

  • All fixings of the above-ground frame are made of stainless steel.

WPC decking layer

  • The walking surface is made of premium WPC BAMBOO composite.

  • The guaranteed material composition is 65% bamboo fibre, 25% HDPE and 10% additives containing UV stabilisers, binders and pigments for high resistance to ageing and frost.

  • The deck boards are 25 mm thick with a profile of 150 × 25 mm.

  • The WPC layer is installed on a Magatelli intermediate system grid to maintain the required support spacing.

  • The surface has a certified R11 anti-slip finish according to DIN 51130 for safe movement in wet conditions.

  • Fire performance meets the strict Bfl-s1 reaction-to-fire classification according to EN 13501-1.

  • The declared local load-bearing capacity of individual boards is 350 kg/m².

  • It is an eco-friendly composite material with a high proportion of renewable raw materials and fully recyclable polymer.
